Like many luxury items, cost is determined by materials. What are the materials? The frame, glass and the photo print itself.
All of my limited edition products come with double-sided anti-reflective 2.5mm museum-grade glass. Products you buy online will have the manufacturer base model of glass because honestly, it's cheaper. This, however, is just one of the many ways my products stand alone because the quality of glass is the most important part of the equation.
How you see the work affects how you enjoy it.
I provide the highest quality of glass at no additional cost to you because fine art should have great glass, as a baseline.
Next is the print itself. Most, if not all prints come on the standard archival matte or glossy paper.. which is fine, if your decorating a dorm room or your goal is basic decor.
My approach is different. When people look at my work they often ask if it's a painting or a photo. The right paper makes all the difference.
I only use Hahnemuhle Fine Art Baryta paper. Normal printer paper is 90-100 GSM. Baryta is 340 GSM which means it's thick, luxurious cotton fibers can absorb and distribute the full range of colors while also adding natural texture, with a semi-gloss finish. The end result is the best of both worlds, vibrant colors, natural textures and a slight shine.
Fine art should have perfect paper.
The frame is the biggest variable in this equation. The size and components determine cost. Is it metal? Wood? Combination? I've partnered with Roma Moulding because they create a high quality luxiourious frame that is an artpeice itself. Hand-made fully customizable Italian custom frames. Built to last a lifetime.
